Slapped wrists.....

Really should make more of an effort to upload......anyway here's a couple of offerings, lighting and rendered 1.200, not completely done but enough for blogger.

First proper go at rendering up a section. Needs a few tweaks, and some labelling, but am pretty happy.

Haven't posted for over a month, so thought Id better pull my finger out. Like most have too much work and too little time. Have been playing around with Masterplan and am settled with current design. Played about with a little bit of rendering, although all very low res at the moment. I'm happy with the structure, but I'm still a little unsure of planting.

The levels, I'm hoping, have been sorted with a succession of retaining walls and terraces, and have certainly been the most difficult to get my head round. As there's no budget, a whole platoon of Diggers should do the job nicely.

As for Tom's booklet.............

Le Notre's Parterre

View to the north with Docklands in background

Greenwich Parterre 3D visualisation

Here we have mock-up visualisation (background not scaled properly) of Andre Le Notre's Parterre he designed for the Royal Park of Greenwich. The Parterre plan from the 17th century was used as basis for model, and scaled appropriately from known measurement from plan. Some licence has been taken with this model, and it could be termed recreation-in-spirit rather than exact replica. The Parterre at Vaux-le-Vicomte has been used as a reference point.
